Western Europe - City Escape

What does it really mean to know a city and its people?  You really can't begin to grasp those ideas without being there, walking among the people, seeing all around you, taking in the city's tastes, smells, and vibes.  Cultures vary from city to city, even within the same country, and that local, authentic, homegrown way of life is what makes travel abroad so rich and enjoyable.  In this assignment, you will pick a major European city, and through research, travel there to learn of its beauty, wonder, and complexity.
