CIRCLES

The main purpose of this lesson is to allow students to acquire mathematical knowledge and problem-solving skills needed to carry out the different operations as it relates to the circle. These will include operations such as finding the perimeter, circumference, area as well as labelling the different parts of the circle. Upon completion of this unit students should have a positive attitude towards solving mathematical problems and show deeper awareness of the mathematical principles involved in understanding circles.
