Tour the Regions of the United States!

           We just received a letter from the President of the United States, Mr. Bush! The president in the far away country of Sri Lanka, Mahinda Rajapaska, contacted Mr. Bush asking him for a favor. The 4th grade students in their schools want to learn about our country. The Presidents feel that the best way to learn about new places is from the people who live there!
          That's where your mission comes into place. He is challenging the students of Miss Pasquale's 4th grade to create the best tour guide of the United States ever written! Our country is an exciting place, that is full of diverse geography, is rich in culture, and is packed with history. Throughout the next several months, you will be working as travel agents, cartographers, historians, and geographers to publish a book. It is your job to show students across the world why we are, "Proud to Be American!" Are you up to the challenge?
