South Carolinia State Animals

Welcome to Zoologist University. During your time at the University you will be learning about the basic needs of a state animal for energy (diet), growth, and protection (habitat or adaptions); as well as how to classify your animal is based on its characteristic. You will be in charge of one animal. You will share everything you have learned about your animal with your classmates, so they too can see how unique your animal is. Research to see if your animal experienced a special adaption in order to survive. 

Your classmates presentations will share with you the needs of their animals, from possibly the same or maybe a different habitat or even classification, its environment, diet, and life cycle. Hopefully, we will be flabbergasted by an adaption or two that these animals had to endure to survive. Won't that be interesting?
