Indus River Valley Civilization

You are about to start a fascinating journey into the past.  You are going to visit the Indus Valley River which developed around 3000 BCE.   This was a very organized civilization is known for their well designed and planned complex cities.  You are going to enter ancient cities including Mohenjo- Daro and Harappa and explore their culture!  It will be up to you to decide which cultural traits you feel are most important to research.

6.H.2.3:Explain how innovation and or technology transformed civilizations, societies and regions over time. - I can explain how new ideas and inventions change societies and civilizations. I will research the technology used by people of the Indus River Valley.

6.C.1.2Explain how religion transformed various societies and civilizations and regions. (Hinduism)- I can describe the impact of religion on a civilization. I will evaluate the impact of religion on the daily lives of people in the Indus RiverValley by identifying ritualistic practices.

6.E.1.2Explain how quality of life is impacted by economic choices of civilizations, societies and regions. I can describe social and economic indicators that impact quality of life. I will compare aspects of daily life in regard to specific specializations in the Indus River Valley.
