Introduction

20120725083904aJuba.jpg

The basis for all societies throughout history is geography.  Geography is the foundation (either directly or indirectly) for an area's political, social, economic, and cultural characteristics.  Spain is not an exception.  By examining Spanish geography, one is also reviewing the impact environmental surroundings have had throughout the world's history.

Task #1- Examine the pictures of Spanish geography.  Describe three ways Spain has either adapted to, changed, or is/has been affected by their environmental surroundings.
