Looking for JJ

The book 'Looking for JJ', written by Anne Cassidy, tells the story about Alice Tully, a seventeen-year-old girl, who's reintegrated into the society. Her original name is Jennifer Jones. She lives in a house together with a social worker, called Rosie, who is her best friend. She can share all her feelings and thoughts with her. She also has a boyfriend called Frankie.

Jennifer Jones works in a coffee shop. One day, she meets a detective who leaves a note. She reads the note and suddenly she panics.  On the note, she reads  a few  names of girls she used to know....

The book consists of a lot of flashbacks. It's about her life being a child and what she had to deal with. Because she wants to reintegrate into the society she receives 2 new names so she can start from scratch.
