Your turn to be the teacher!
Now that we are starting a new unit on The Odyssey by Homer, you will need to know some background information before we begin reading. For this activity, you will need to use what you already know about synthesizing information from various sources, summarizing main points, and taking good notes. You will be assigned a specific part of ancient Greek history or culture to research that somehow relates to The Odyssey. You need to become an expert on your topic so that you can teach your topic to your group-mates. You will help us learn what we need to know in order to fully understand The Odyssey when we begin reading it!
