As we have studied throughout the course of the semester, Health, Wellness and Quality of Life are issues that we have to work on for as long as we live. Our environment, heredity (genes) and behaviors are important factors in determining how we live, and how LONG we live.

As a group you will research and demonstrate these SuperSkills as they can help young people combat the Top Risk Factors for Adult Chronic Illness:

  • Homicide
  • Suicide
  • Motor vehicle crashes, including drunk driving
  • Smoking
  • Substance use and abuse
  • Sexually Transmitted Infection including HIV
  • Teen and unplanned pregnancy
  • Homelessness

Why do you need to master the Super Seven? Because "life is short", isn't it? No... life is LONG!!!
