Social Studies and the World Around Us

The purpose of this lesson is to empower students on how the various areas of social studies are connected and with the appropriate strategies and vocabulary students will understand how these areas are intertwinded.  Students will use the internet to research topics and use hands on experiences to apply what they have learned.  Differentiation of instruction and accommodations will be implemented for those students who need a more diverse type of instruction.  The smart board and smart table will also be tools for the students who continue to need access to more visual representation.
