The Pigman

Character development helps the reader develop an emotional connection with the protagonist(s). In The Pigman, Zindel uses alternating first person narration (Lorraine and John) so that the reader gets to know each of the characters better. Throughout the course of the novel, the reader sees changes in both characters and this culminates with the death of Mr. Pignati. Your task is to determine how they become dynamic characters and write a monologue from the point of view of John or Lorraine of how Mr. Pignati changed them for the better. This will be presented to class so make sure that that you clearly understand your character's development.
