Shakespeare and the Elizabethan Era

In English class your teacher has just introduced you to William Shakespeare and the Elizabethan Era in which he lived.  You begin to wonder what life was like back then. Suddenly, you are transported back into time to the early 1600's in London, England.  William Shakespeare is working with his company practicing a newly written play to be performed next week at the Globe Theatre.  As you wander through town, you find the lifestyle, clothing, and entertainment (especially the theatre) remarkably different from home.  You spend the next week absorbing all that you see.  Your last night culminates in watching Shakespeare's company perform his new play Hamlet.  You are then suddenly transported home with a vast amount of new knowledge from this era.
