For women who are professionals and celebrities, first impression should be appealing. Their personality and appearance should leave a lasting impression. It is for this reason that they always aspire to enhance their interpersonal skills and improve their appearance.  One of the popular ways of feeling more confident about one�s  image is the use of skin care products and facial cosmetics. These products highlight the positives in women�s appearance and contribute to their well-being as a whole.

The Origin of Cosmetics

Ancient Egyptians used cosmetics to soften skin in the arid environment, to enhance beauty and for religious rituals from about 10,000 to 4,000 BCE. Around 3,000 BCE in China, fingernail polish was used to indicate social class, while in Greece women whitened their faces and applied rouge, as well as fake eyebrows. In 1,500 BCE, Asian women used rice paper to whiten their faces, shaved off their eyebrows, and used henna stains for their hair.
