Fruits and Vegetable

You and your mother went to the supermarket and ask you to go get some fruits and vegetables, but she warned you to be careful. She asked you to pack the fruits and vegetables in different bags, but what she didn't know was that you had no clue what she was talking about. Today you will learn the difference between a fruit and a vegetable, in a scavenger hunt around the class room. Here is some information for you to be able to identify the difference between the two.

A fruit is a sweet or sour produce that grow on trees or vines and contain seeds in them, such as apples, oranges, grapes, strawberries and bananas.

A vegetable is an edible produce that usually grows on plants or is a part of a plant. It can also grow under the ground, like potatoes, carrots, and onions.
