Write down your formulas for perimeter, lateral area and surface area of right prisms and right cylinders.

Consider the shape of a Toblerone candy bar (assume that it is solid). Given the fact that a 14.1 ounce bar is 12 inches in length and that the height and width are equal, what are the height and width?
(Hint: volume= length*width*height)

Now that you have the length, width, and height, what is the perimeter?


What is the lateral area?
What is the surface area?
