Termination, Relocation, & PL280

This Unit is written for High School US History: World War II, The Cold War, & International Relations (1939 - 1991) and emphasizes three elements of the US Termination policy: House Concurrent Resolution 108 (Termination Act), Federal Relocation program, and Public Law 280.  Each of these three elements are spread across three tasks for each task you will be graded on:

Task 1: You will be graded on your participation in the class debate about Termination.

Task 2: You will be graded on the Federal Relocation Quiz, Federal Relocation questions, and the Federal Relocation Graphic Organizer.

Task 3: You will be graded on your completion of the graphic organizer Federal Recognition of Indian Nations.

You will also be graded on your particpation in a class discussion about the Federal Recognition program.

Finally, you will be graded on an essay evaluating how Public Law 280 affects federal, state, and tribal governments.

Assessment is ongoing.  There are many more opportunities for your teacher to evaluate your progress in this unit.
