Grammar and punctuation	All of the words are spelled properly and punctuation is flawless.	Few words are spelled incorrectly, and punctuation is not perfect.	Many misspelled words and punctuation is off.	No properly spelled words and grammar needs improvement.	25%
Creativity	A creative idea is put to paper.Idea shows that time and effort were put into the assignment.	A decent idea was put on paper. Idea shows some sort of effort was put into assignment.	A O.K idea is put on paper. It is evident that student did not put much time into assignment.	Idea has nothing to do with assignment. No effort is shown.	25%
Classwork	Student worked hard on assignment in class.	Student worked on assignment in class but strayed off assignment at times.	Student was doing work only half the time.	Student rarely worked on assignment in class.	25%
