Data storage and computers

Day 4-6

Congratulations! You have now gathered all the data needed to complete your mission. Now you must send the information you gathered to headquarters in a creative way. To do this, you will create 4 comic strips.

• One comic strip will be about floppy disks
•  one about cds
• one about usb drives
• one about hard disks(hard drives)  

To make your comics, you will use the following website:

Each comic strip MUST have:

�         At least two characters

�         One character must be asking about the data storage part

�         The other character must be explaining what the data storage part does

�         The comic must contain at least two facts about the data storage part

�         Have at least 3 panels

See the attached rubric to see how you will be graded on EACH strip. 

 Before you work on your comic strips, you must plan what will happen first, second and third in your strip. Download the word template that is on this unit.  When you have completed your brainstorming, then you can start using makebelieve comics to complete your comic strips.

Make sure to print each strip when you are done!(or e-mail them to Ms. T.)
