Evaluation
Remember your submission can be in any digital format that your group decides (I.e. movie, powerpoint, Prezi, etc.) To get full marks on the webquest, your presentation needs to include the following items:
- Three song included as audio or video files:
- One song selection must be played in full, while the other two are minimum 1 minute excerpts.
- You must have a song selection that meets each of the content requirements:
- 1) Is reflective of the country's rich cultural music history.
- 2) Is reflective of the current music culture or standards in the country.
- 3) Expresses the creative innovations, music advancements, or patriotic nature of the country.
(Remember don't double up requirements - you need 3 separate songs!)
- Presentation Notes (or script) clearly typed to submit with your digital presentation.
- Digital Presentation Requirements:
- Submitted on time
- Interesting and organized presentation method
- Includes pictures and graphics that enhance submission
- The title page to the presentation contains a graphic of the country's name over top the country's flag, and a brief clip of the National Anthem underscoring this title page.
- Includes a brief historical context of music and it's role in the assigned country.
- Research content in the submission as to why each piece was chosen for inclusion, and how it meets the requirements.
- Make sure to include composer information, date written, and artist information (if applicable) as well as other important information about each piece.
- Team Collaboration
- Submit a team document breaking down each team members contribution and participation in the webquest.
