Evaluation
At the beginning of the school year the students will participate in a baseline workout that will consist of timed mile run, sit ups, pushups, squats, and planks. At the end of the school year the baseline workout will be retested and results will be compared to determine improvements.
Since the classes will only meet 2 days a week, the students will need to keep a fitness log to keep record of additional workouts that are completed on their own. We want to encourage the students to set personal achievable goals to remind them becoming healthy is a lifestyle.
