Formative Assessment:

• You will be evaluated during the field trip based on your conduct at the Science Centre. The chaperones will also be asked to report any innaproriate behaviour of thier group members (I do not expect to hear any complaints about this class as you are all responsible young adults).
• You will be responsible for including a poem in your journal that contains term/information you learned during the field trip. This will be marked for completion only.
  

Summative Assessment:

• The journal will be graded out of a total of 10 points. You will receive one point for each of your questions/interesting facts and one point for each answer/explanation of these questions and facts. The final 4 marks will be given for your two page reserach paper regarding a topic of your choice that interested you during the field trip.

The marks for this assignment are broken up as follows

Question/Interesting Fact:                                               1 point each  x 3 total = 3 points total

Explanation/Answer :                                                        1 point each x 3 total = 3 points total

2 page reasearch paper:                                                  
Relavant topic:                                                                     1 point                         = 1 point total           
Sources used:                                                                       1 point                         = 1 point total
Thorough explanation:                                                       1 point                         = 1 point total
Proper structure (intro/body/conclusion):                     1 point                         = 1 point total
