- Start 30 feet away from your partner
- Your partner will give you a different target for 10 throws
- If you throw the baseball within a glove length away from that target (up, down, left or right), then you are awarded a point
- This round is worth 10 points
Step 2:
- Move back to 45 feet from your partner
- Your partner will give you a different target for 10 throws
- If you throw the baseball within a glove length away from that target (up, down, left or right), then you are awarded a point
- This round is worth 10 points
Step 3:
- Move back further to 60 feet away from your partner
- Your partner will give you a different target for 10 throws
- If you throw the baseball within a glove length away from that target (up, down, left or right), then you are awarded a point
- This round is worth 10 points
Step 4:
- Change sides with your partner, now you are the partner that is catching the baseball
- Through all 3 rounds and all 30 throws, you have the ability of getting points as well
- If the ball hits your glove and is caught, you will receive a point
- If the ball hits your glove and is NOT caught, you will lose a point
- If the ball is poorly thrown and you have no real chance of catching it, no point will be awarded or taken away
- As the partner catching the baseball, you have an opportunity of receiving 30 points
