Evaluation
Pre-Assessment:
Kahoot.it! online quiz. This is not for a grade, but students knowledge will be assessed and saved for post assessment comparison.
Formative Assessment:
Activities and games done during class will be assessed, and the activities in this WebQuest will be adjusted as needed.
Interim Assessments:
- Farmer's Field- Following the guidelines listed in the below Rubric , students will show their level of understanding of the Cardinal Directions through the worksheet.
- Making a Compass Rose- Following the guidelines listed in the below Rubric, students will show their understanding of words and phrases associated with the Compass Rose.
- Journey Journals- Following the guidelines listed in the below Rubric, students will show their level of understanding through answering the daily mission questions. The journals will be checked daily to see if the students are on the right path, or need further instruction.
Students will be give the Kahoot.it! (Pre-Assessment) online quiz. This time, the students prior knowledge level, and current knowledge level will be evaluated according to the Rubric below.
