Three Branches of Government
Evaluation
3) You are now going to create your own "Government Tree" so you will need the following supplies:
- 1 whole sheet of construction paper (Color of your choice)
- 1 sheet of brown construction paper (For the branches)
- Colored markers, crayons, or pencils
- Glue stick
- The Leaf cutouts
- 3 Branches of Government Worksheet/ Video Notes
- First you will need to print off the attached document of the leaf cutouts.
- Cut out all of the leaves on their outlines.
- Take your brown construction paper and cut out three different sticks that look like tree branches. (Make sure they are thick enough to write the name of Government Branch)
- Take your glue stick and whole sheet of construction paper and glue the three branches separately from each to where there is room in between each branch.
- Take your cut out leaves and match them to each branch of government on the paper.
- Glue your answers down in the correct spots.
- Write the title (My Government Tree) on the top of your project.
- Write your first and last name on the back of your project.
(Your project should look similar to my example that is attached at the bottom of this page)
4) Once you have finished all of those assignments, visit the following link and take a little quiz on the 3 Branches of Government and their jobs/powers

- Make sure to write your quiz score on the bottom of your "Government Tree" worksheet
