American Sign Language Lesson

The rubric below is how the teacher will be evaluating your skills on what you have learned in American Sign Language.

Fingerspelling Name	Spells name with many errors in handshapes, or needs to ask teacher for help.	Spells name with some errors of handshape and order of letters.	Spells entire name correctly with minimal handshape errors.	Correctly spells entire name using the right handshapes.	5
Providing Age	Number is incorrect or student needs to ask teacher for help.	Handshape is difficult to understand	Handshape of number may need work.	Correctly shows the number that represents their age.	5
Informing of Favorite Color	Handshape is incorrect, or cannot provide a color without help.	Difficult to understand the color that is trying to be shown.	Handshape is a little weak, but color is understood.	Clearly represents color.	5
Sign random vocabulary word	Signs incorrect word, or needs needs help to remember.	Has the right idea, but sign needs work to be clearly understood.	Some variation is needed to be signed correct, but word is understood.	Clearly signs the vocabulary word that is asked.	5
