The Rubric below tells you how you will be graded on your roller coaster sketches/3-D models, and commercial skit. Each student will receive a group grade for both the sketches and presentation. The highest grade each group can receive is a 16/16. In each of the 4 categories you can receive up to 4 points. Remember,hard work does show off!

Content Accuracy: All of the group's content throughout their presentation is accurate. There were no factual errors present . Most of the group's content is accurate but there are one or two pieces in which seem to be inaccurately stated. Majority of the content is accurate, but a there are a few factual errors. The group's content is confusing and contains more than one factual errors. /4
Creativity/ Originality: The roller coaster design shows a large amount of original thought, and creative ideas. The group was overall inventive. The roller coaster shows some original thought. The group shows new ideas and insight as well. The roller coaster uses prior knowledge and ideas in which they have seen, and giving credit. There is little evidence of original thinking. Roller coaster replicates an existing machine. Shows no originality or thought. /4
Commercial Skit: The group performed a detailed persuasive commercial skit in which would sell their coaster automatically. The performance was detailed but not as persuasive as needed to sell their coaster. There was little detail, and no persuasion. The students had a hard time trying to sell their coaster. Poor performance with no detail, and no effort in trying to sell their coasters. /4
Cooperation: The group worked excellently together. They delegated tasks and shared responsibility effectively all of the time. They showed overall great group work/ efforts. Group worked well most of the time. They delegated tasks and shared their responsibility effectively at some points. Group worked well together some of the time. They shared responsibility as but did not delegate tasks very well. Group does not work well together. They had a hard time sharing responsibility as well as delegating tasks. /4
