Below is the evaluation rubric for this assignment. The paper counts for 60 points of the grade and the PowerPoint counts for 20 points, for a total of 80 points. The categories of how the grade is made up are explained below.

Formatting of Paper There was no formatting requirements met, paper is less than 3 pages. Paper is 3 pages but there is no formatting and/or citing. Paper is 3 pages with a Works Cited page. Formatting is almost all there with some exceptions. Paper is 3 pages with a Works Cited page. Formatting is correct and it is all there. _/20

Content of Paper There is little to no information about either character. There is some information but there is no use of resources to support claims. There is a large amount of information but it is not clearly written. There are properly cited supporting quotes (or citing has some errors). There is a large amount of information and the paper has a clear meaning. There are properly cited supporting quotes. _/20

Grammar and Proper Word Usage in Paper The paper has numerous grammatical and structural errors, to the point that the message is unclear. The paper has a large amount grammatical and structural errors, but the message of the paper is understandable. The paper has a few large word usage and/or grammatical errors, but the paper is clear. The paper has few to no errors. The errors, if any, are small and do not affect the content of the paper. _/20

Powerpoint Presentation Student did not present and little or no PowerPoint was created. Student met the 5 slide requirement but presentation was not made. Student met the 5 slide requirement and gave presentation with little information. Student met the 5 slide requirement and gave an informative and complete presentation. _/20
