1. Purpose

This is the part of the WebQuest where you put the rubric or evaluation tool that you will use to evaluate students' performance. It's important to inform students before they start about how they will be assessed, so that they know what to focus on. A rubric can be used by students to evaluate themselves and their peers. It can also be used by the teacher to determine their final grade for the project.

2. To create a rubric for your project follow these instructions:
  1. Click on Update to personalize it to your project.
  2. Decide on your criteria and enter them one at a time as the "categories"
  3. Decide on your ratings  for each level (e.g. starter, beginner, intermediate, advanced)
  4. Fill in the levels of performance you expect for each criterion at each level.
3. Your Evaluation
When you have finished posting your project on the forum, use the rubric here to give feedback to your peers about their projects. Please be sure to include both positive comments and constructive criticism. Then, evaluate your own project.
