There are two parts to the assignment. One part is the weather book and the other is the weather journal.

  • The weather book should include at least one page on each of the six weather topics listed (rain, wind, snow, clouds, thunderstorms and climate). Each page of the weather book should inlcude a colored illustration with a minimum of 4 relevant captions. The weather book should have an appropriate cover with a title and the author's name. The final page of the weather book should be a letter addressed to "Mork" explaining the student's opinion on the type of weather the alien might like best. 
  • The weather journal is to be completed using the "Eye on the Sky" website. Students should collect the required data on a daily basis and print the final summary sheet. A completed weather journal should consist of 7 days of accurate weather data.
