Congratulations, you have survived the famine, the  plague, persecution, and war.  The purpose of this quest is to understand  that geography contributes to political, economic, and cultural development of a society.  Movement of individuals, goods and ideas change societies.  Historical events, political conflict, types of government, religion, economic conditions, and education define a society and affect people's lives.   What societal traits are needed to establish a stable, prosperous society, and learn how to use history to understand modern events and current problems.
