Geometry in the World Around Us

     After this assignment is complete, students will have a better understanding of how math is actually used throughout the world. The students will be able to identify geometric relationships present in art, architecture, nature and beyond. Hopefully, there will no longer be a need for a question such as, "When are we ever going to use this in real life?"

     This assignment was a chance for students to really put together what they have learned throughout this course. By completing this project, a connection has really been made between geometry and the world around us.

     I would like to encourage everyone to use the knowledge you have gained from this project, and apply it to other math classes in the future. So many connections can be made between math and the real world. Now, it is time to extend what you have learned through the rest of your education.
