Family

I hope that you had fun while learning and are now able to identify which family type is yours.

Here is a quick reminder:

A family is a group of people who are related by blood, marriage or adoption

The different types of families are : nuclear, single-parent, extended, sibling and foster

nuclear family- parents and children

single-parent family- one parent and child or children

extended family- parents, children, grand-parents, and other close relatives

sibling family- consists of only children

foster family- a person being cared for by someone who is not his or her family
