EDUC 652 Assignment

Students will be able to learn about their classmate's culture through research, interviewing, and gaining personal knowledge of a culture through second-hand experience. They will gain an appreciation for the new culture by asking relevant questions and researching about family, traditions, geography, and beliefs. By taking the time to indulge in the process of learning about someone, connection are made as intimate details about one's family and life are shared. It is though these process that students are able to find connections and deeper understanding about he people around them. The project is meant to help students learn about new places, cultures, traditions, religions, foods, holidays, and ways of living. Through this project, I hope that students will understand that vast backgrounds of the people who are in their class and also get to share the background that they themselves come from.
