Congratulations!  You did it!  You chose a tooth from a pile of teeth and correctly identified it!  You worked with a team and showed your individual abilities and your collaborative skills.  There is so much more to learn about tooth morphology that will help you know what each tooth looks like.  Studying tooth morphology will help you to be successful in your dental hygiene career.  When you are working in a mouth you will be able to know when a tooth is in the wrong place, if two teeth are fused, is there is gemination, etc.  How do you learn more?  Simple.  Choose another category of tooth-just pick one that looks much different than your original tooth-and start the whole process again.  Chose a molar, premolar (bicuspid), cuspid, incisor and search for what specific traits make it unique that will allow you to give the tooth a number.  Have fun!
