When is it Appropriate to Engage in War?

In this activity, you explored a very controversial issue from 1960s America.  You acted as historians to learn why this issue was so dividing to society.  You communicated from another person's perspective.  Finally, you thought about your own feeling, and compared and contrasted them with several groups and your classmates.  In doing so, you learned much of why we study history.

As a final question, in your own opinion when do you think it is appropriate to engage in war?
