Nouns are used to identify the name of a person places, animals and things. Also, a Proper Nouns speaks to the specific name given to a something while on the other hand Common Nouns are unspecific because they used in a generalized manner. Nouns should be used sparingly because students who are not cognizant of what the are will use them in the wrong context. With the understanding of these words students will be able to use them appropriately and effectively whether through conversations and writing documents, which will enable them to understand how to use them and what they intend to say when calling persons by their name or generalizing them.

Skills: Viewing- students will silently view the video on nouns to gain an understanding of what they are and how they should be used.

Listening- students will listen attentively to their peers to develop respect for others opinions.

Speaking-students will speak in subtle tones to develop respect in their speech and communicate effectively via discussions.

Writing- students will connect what is learnt from the video and discussions, using this to write a paragraph utilizing the headings (people, places, animals and things) as guidelines.
