WELL DONE TEAMS!

You have now become expert meteorologists and successfully spread the word about severe weather and how to prepare for it! You have done a fantastic job of educating the community to keep the people safe. You should all be very proud of all the hard work you have accomplished! Thanks for all of your help! I certainly couldn't have done it without you!

Thanks again,

Meteorologist Sam

Now, lets review all of the new and exciting information we have learned about severe weather:

We have learned about four types of severe weather: hurricanes, blizzards, thunder and lightning, and tornadoes. We researched and collected information about where and when they occur, what causes them and how they form, the weather conditions that are expected, and how to prepare for these conditions in order to stay safe. We presented this information by creating a severe weather report and safety kit using PowerPoint or large poster board. Knowing the types of severe weather, as well as what do in the event that a severe weather occurs in your area, will allow you to be better prepared in case of an emergency.

You have learned a lot about severe weather, but there is more to be discovered! I encourage you to not only learn more about hurricanes, tornadoes, thunder and lightning, and blizzards, but to explore beyond those four types to discover other types of severe weather! If you would like to do some more investigating, check out these additional resources listed below! Enjoy and keep on learning!
