Area of a Circle

By completion of this WebQuest, you will understand that mathematics dates back thousands of years. You will have viewed multiple ancient structures that will help you gain some international perspective.  You will have learned that mathematics is every where. Mathematics can describe the world around you. 

Isn�t mathematics interesting?  Think of circles that you use in everyday life.  Next time, you will look at circles differently.  You are building bridges with this material.  Later on in your mathematical career, you might actually build bridges.  Bridge construction requires Calculus.  I would like you to extend this WebQuest to other structures that are of different shapes.
