DBQ7: Artistic Responses to the Industrial Age

The Industrial Revolution was such a massive change in human history.  We are still feeling the results of those changes.  Today's arguments about climate change and global warming are directly linked to the Industrial Revolution.  Today the Information Revolution that began with the public use of the internet in the late 1990s, is changing society so fast, that it is hard to keep up with it at times.  Some of the same types of fears ("Is it out of our control?"  "Is it changing our society for the better or the worse?"  etc.) that existed during the early days of the Industrial Revolution are still around with the major changes happening with the Information Revolution.
