In conclusion, through your quest,  through the lives of these famous persons, you should have found how difficult it was for these people both young and old to leave their homes, families, friends and Colleagues to come to the U.S.  They overcame great adversity, public opinion both positive and negative.  Some never saw their families again.  They brought with them a rich culture of food, entertainment, inventions, great sportsplayers, a priceless addition to both our local and national scene.  We as Americans learned a new language, married into these families, and thrived as they grew to love this country.  You should have mastered several standards - research through the web, creating a presentation, learning about immigration, how difficult it is to immigrate to a new country.  The quest should have given you a new dimension of how immigration effects your attitude towards your neighbors and the attitudes of the nation as a whole.
