Playing with Pennies, and Nickels, Dimes, and Quarters too

Great job, shoppers! You made it through the checklane and you bought your items!  Together, we thought about which coins were which, how much they were worth, and what that means when we got to the "store."  You took your dollar and s t r e t c h e d it to buy all your items.  You figured out how to subtract what you were buying from what money you have, and that helped you to know whether or not you could buy the next item.  You also found out that there are all sorts of ways to put coins together to come to the right amount!  Be sure to show off your new skill next time you go shopping wih your family!  They'll be so proud when you can make exact change!
