Bar Mitzvah or Son of Commandment is the coming of age ceremony for Jewish males as they make their entry into the faith community as an adult.  This ceremony means that the Jewish boy should fulfil all the commandments. A boy's transition to maturity is marked by his being called up to read from the scroll of the Torah, during Sabbath morning services.

Students are encourage to reflect in other to "concrete" what was taught as well as to appreciate the Jewish faith.
