The Internet is arguably one of 21st Century's most powerful tools for communication and human interaction.  When used in negative, devicive ways, it has the potential to cause as much harm to humankind as it provides benefits.  You have learned about and discussed various forms of cyberbullying along with numerous real-life cases that ended in tragedy.  You've written about personal experiences and cross-cultural perspectives on bullying.  You have embarked on a campaign, appealing to other teens and various stakeholders who have the power to bring about positive  change.  As you reflect upon the project you've completed, think about the various roles each of us may play in continuing to bring about this positive change in our classrooms, our schools, our communities, and across the world.

As you come away from this experience, ask yourself what you'll do the next time you witness an act of bullying.  Will you choose to be a participant or a bystander, or will you take an active role in stopping it?  How will you react if you are bullied yourself?  What are some ways to channel the emotions in a positive direction rather than a negative, destructive one?  How would you help others who have been bullied?  What are some resources you would recommend to them?

One Step Further:  1.  You may want to post your educational video on YouTube or other Internet websites.  2.  Find a local printshop willing to donate its services and make multiple copies of the pamphlet you created.  Distribute the pamphlet at school and local businesses, colleges, and universities.  3.  Start a petition on Facebook or another social networking website, urging local, state, and national officials to enact tougher laws against cyberbullying.
