Scientific Method

The purpose of this lesson was to help you better understand the process of the Scientific Method. This method is used every day not only by students in science class, but also by scientists as well. This is a worldwide method used in creating new medications, learning more about the environment, how the weather works, what causes reactions to all types of things, and the list continues on. By doing this lesson, you will now be ready and prepared for more scientific experiments and learning how things work. I would like to encourage you all to think of other problems or questions that you would like to solve and really do extensive research and experimenting to find the answersand figure out how things work and operate. Just think, without the Scientific Method, we may not understand how the weather works, or even what goes on in the environment. Science has created many advanced ways of living and staying healthy, and none of it would have been made possible without people wondering �what if� or �I wonder�. Remember, it all starts with a Hypothesis!!
