E: Assessment Task Blueprint for my major project                                                   (G)

*What understanding and goal will be assessed through this task?

Students will plan appropriate charts  or any graphic organizers of ocean activities and their effect on coral reefs and other organisms for themselves.

Ø  Criteria:

·         Graphic display of data of similarities and differences of clean polluted water including humans’ activities which contribute to the two areas and how healthy and unhealthy corrals and organism attached to the coral reefs look like.

·         Effective explanations of how unfriendly fishing styles and other ocean activities pollute of the water. Investigate how much fluid a speed boat and Jet Ski use for one trip to Maki Island and back. Select appropriate tools and technology: calculators, computers, microscopes, and binoculars to perform tests, collect data, and display data.

·         Communicate the steps and results from an investigation in written reports and oral presentations for. Apply other knowledge to create ways to minimize water pollution or to make hypothesis for future out come.
