World War II

This WebQuest took you on an educational journey where you explored and answered the essential question, What was the impact of WWII?  Along the way you answered several other essential questions that were related to the main objective of the WebQuest. These questions were related to specific subsets that concentrated on specific areas directly related to the main topic. Each build on the other, reinforcing the main objective and helping you to create a bigger picture and better understanding of WWII and the impact that it had on both America and the world. You completed many meaningful activities, participated in purposeful tasks and engaged in important discussions that brought you to a deeper level of learning and a higher level of thinking. Not only did you have individual work but you participated in group activities and personal reflection that were challenging and authentic. I encourage you to reflect back on the lessons from this WebQuest, but also on the lessons that can be learned from this gruesome and unnecessary war. Ask yourself if a war like this could ever happen in this day in time? What can you do to help prevent this from happening again? Did learning about this war inspire you to possibly pursue a career in the military, the justice system, the medical filed, the field of aviation, politics or the like?

This WebQuest should inspire  you to learn more about this war and the affect that it continues to have on the world. Although you have learned much about WWII thorough this WebQuest there is much more to belearned.
