The Lost Boys of Sudan

Even though the civil war that engulfed Sudan for over 25 years is a very sad and depressing part of our world's history, we can take hope in the fact that people like Gabriel Bol, Chris Koor and Salva Dut never gave up despite their tragic circumstances in life.  Each of these three young men have demonstrated what can happen when people don't give up and continue to give of themselves and help others.  As you grow, mature and move forward in your education, remember to always keep your dreams, hopes and desires close to your heart.  Whenever you begin to feel defeated or lost, remember our three Lost Boys of Sudan, and let them be your inspiration to persevere and never give up on yourself and your dreams.
